So here's the deal: 2007-2012 E90 uses the N47 engine that has a nasty habit of breaking the distribution chain (factory problem) and bmw has not done any recalls on the matter. A repair would likely be in the 2000-2500 euro range, around 3000$ worst case scenario. Now from 2006-2007 the E90 had the M47 engine that didnt have this problem.

65W Osram Ultra High Output (2100 lumen, H9 burner on H7 base, race and special-purpose use): I find high output bulbs burn the element hotter so burn out quicker. A high output H7 is around 1500 lumen even for the very best and most are 1100. This is a standard H9 so normal life but 2100 lumen. Please go ahead and look them up.

Mines a pre_lci 320d it's remapped but unfortunately I bought the car with it already mapped. Cars done 145000miles clutch and flywheel were replaced about 100000miles map was done about 110000 then turbo replaced about 120000. I believe the map finished off the turbo quicker than if it had been left standard.
